It's made with three types of Portuguese grapes, which are harvested in Amador County, Calif. and crushed, aged and bottled in Denver. The winery hosts lunch and free tasting tours daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A reservation is required for parties with more than eight people. The food on the lunch menu is very good. You'll find the presentation to be outstanding, the ingredients local and fresh and the prices incredible. Many of the dishes average $10 bucks or less.
