A good grab-and-go food spot is essential in today's work culture. With everyone always on the go and constantly searching for extra minutes throughout the day, waiting in line has become more of a nuisance than ever. Luckily for us Denverites, there are plenty of businesses nearby that provide excellent grab-and-go services besides the local 7-11. Here are a few places that should help expedite your meal without losing the quality and quantity of a sit down restaurant.
Asada Rico
16th Street Mall and Stout St.
Denver, CO 80202

Located on 16th Street Mall at Stout St., you will find a green food stand that has one of the nicest people you'll ever meet behind it, as well as some of the best Mexican food in Denver. Manny, the man behind the grill, always has a smile on his face and seems genuinely interested in whatever you have to say. His breakfast burritos are the reason to come here, though. The green chile has a perfect flavor that's not too spicy, but not too mild. It blends effortlessly with whichever other ingredients you choose to build your morning burrito with. Manny has pre-made burritos each morning, but be sure to get there early if you want a true grab-and-go experience, as this place is no secret and the line will get long quickly.

However, if you do have a couple of extra minutes and don't have a particularly sweet tooth in the morning, their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious and are served up pretty quickly as well.

With some of these restaurants, "grab-and-go" is really dictated on your time of arrival. This restaurant is no exception. If there isn't a line, you can expect to be in and out quickly without any hassle. However, if you come during a rush period, you may have to wait. But hey, that's the price you pay for exceptional food. At The Uber Sausage, they have a plethora of different, homemade sausages ready to make any sandwich a masterpiece. Meats range anywhere from bison to crawfish, but no matter which link you decide on, you will undoubtedly be satisfied.
