You don’t have to go to the Denver Art Museum to find amazing works of art. There are a lot of local businesses that feature rotating art galleries on their walls, allowing local artists a chance to display their work and offering you a chance to pick up some amazing and truly original art. Forget buying another print at some big-name store, instead check out these great local businesses and peruse the Denver artists that are on display. You just may find your new favorite artist at one of these great establishments.
Vintage Theatre

Vintage Theatre is known as one of the best local theatre companies in town with a huge rotating schedule of high-quality local theatre. This fantastic little theatre company started in a tiny space off 17th and Vine but has recently relocated to the Aurora Culture and Arts District with a huge new space and a warm and welcoming lobby featuring wonderful art by local artists. The art is changed out frequently, often to go with the show that is currently playing at Vintage Theatre. Get a couple of tickets to the next show and arrive early to check out the great art on display.

Paris on the Platte is an institution in Denver. What was once just a small coffee house has expanded to include a cafe and bar, with lots of Denver folks sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather while sipping on delightful coffees and snacks. Paris is also known for featuring local artists, with art that changes frequently. You can even get a preview of the art on display simply by checking out its website, but to get the full effect, you need to head down there, get a latte and peruse the different paintings that are on display.
