Top Coffee Shops In Northern Colorado

There are a lot of coffee shops in Northern Colorado, some corporate, some locally owned, but each with their own distinct character. However, a few of these establishments are uniquely different from the rest, and here's a list of some of the best.

Main Street in Longmont is home to Ziggi's Coffee House. The building was built back in 1890, but a renovation in 2004 created the space where Ziggi's is today. With its store front windows, exposed brick interior and big, comfy couches, Ziggi's serves its Coda Coffee blends in a setting described as being like your living room. There's live music every Wednesday night, making Ziggi's a great place to enjoy a blended brew and put your feet up.

Tucked away in a Fort Collins' strip mall, The Haunted Game Café is a hidden gem. This shop offers delicious coffee drinks as well as loads of board games patrons can play for free. They also sell new games that you'll be unable to find elsewhere in Northern Colorado. The atmosphere is fun, with patrons of every age playing everything from monopoly to more complex games. Conveniently located in downtown Fort Collins, Everyday Joe's is a non-profit coffee shop working to benefit the community by providing a space to gather and build relationships. Patrons are allowed to bring in outside food, so it's the perfect place to pop in with your sack lunch. Everyday Joe's non-profit status means they give away all their profits to a community minded organization each year. Their calendar is always full of live music, art sales, poetry readings and more.

Providing the only free wi-fi in Berthoud, Da Bean is the place to be in this charming little town. This is a coffee shop that serves up foodstuffs too, including fresh bakery items, homemade soups and sandwiches and full breakfast on the weekends. It's brightly lit interior is popular with local bicyclists who make this a customary stop on their rides. There are several outdoor tables where patrons can sit among the shop's legendary flowerbeds. From cyclists to families, Da Bean is a true small town coffee shop where the locals go to catch up and service is offered up with a smile.
