This Wednesday CBS4 and The Adoption Exchange are teaming up for “A Day for Wednesday’s Child.”
More than 150 children in Colorado will remember Friday forever as the day they officially joined their forever families. It is National Adoption Day.
The founder and executive director of the Adoption Exchange is saying goodbye after 30 years.
This week CBS4 is devoting an entire day to help children find forever families.
CBS4′s Brooke Wagner is starting her 10th year with the Adoption Exchange, telling the stories of Wednesday’s children. Wagner says it’s a thrill when those children find their forever families, just like Marsellus did.
There are 5,929 children in foster care. Hundreds of them are hoping that someday they’ll find a family they can call their own. For one little boy, finding a forever family completely changed his life.
Every week CBS4 features a story of a Wednesday’s Child searching for a forever family. It’s wonderful when that child and family find each other, just like Tommy Olson and his family did in 1997.
