The nation’s most sweeping measure addressing youth-concussions in sports was signed into law Tuesday in Colorado.
More youth sports coaches would have to take concussion training under a bill that cleared the Colorado House Monday.
The Colorado Senate approved a bill that would prevent young athletes believed to have suffered a concussion from returning to a game unless they’ve received medical clearance.
A youth concussion legislation news conference is scheduled for Thursday at the state Capitol before a bill that helps to keep young athletes active and safe will be introduced in committee.
