Crews worked carefully on Wednesday to clean up munitions from World War II in Lakewood’s Green Mountain Park.
The U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot says crews have cleaned up a mustard gas leak that was detected July 3.
Explosives found at a park west of Denver were safely detonated on Friday, with the sound ricocheting around a nearby neighborhood.
Crews will start digging for explosives left over from World War II training. It’s believed the explosives are still underground on Green Mountain in Lakewood.
