The Denver Center has revamped its ticket system in advance of Book of Mormon ticket sales for this fall’s return engagement.
Free tickets to concerts and shows provided to Mayor Michael Hancock’s office intended to be used for business development and marketing have been going to his inner circle, staff members, cabinet members and friends since Hancock took office, according to a CBS4 investigation.
It hasn’t even hit the stage in Colorado yet and theater lovers in Denver are already anticipating the Book of Mormon’s return performances.
One of Broadway’s biggest musicals in years will open its national tour in Denver in just two weeks.
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts denied their computer system crashed during ticket sales for the “Book of Mormon” but said the huge volume of users bogged it down.
Theater lovers are very excited because the “Book of Mormon” is coming to Denver in August.
“The Book of Morman” is one of the hottest tickets on Broadway. Now the show is getting set to travel from the Big Apple on its national tour. The first stop: Denver.
