Nicasio Settles In, Gets Second Win In San Diego

After a rough first inning, Juan Nicasio settled in and threw six solid innings to help save a depleted bullpen as the Rockies got a rare road win with a 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres.

Brothers’ Wild Pitch In 8th Costs Rockies

Rex Brothers has been in tough spots before, but it’s likely the Colorado Rockies’ pitcher has ever lost a game like this. The Padres scored two runs in the eighth inning on Brothers’ wild pitch for a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies.
