AFC Offensive Player of the Week
It was a good week for Denver Broncos players as two won league honors and another got recognized by the team.
The Broncos were held under 65 snaps just twice last season – both times by San Diego.
Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was honored with the NFL’s AFC Offensive Player of the Week award on Wednesday.
Julius Thomas has lost the element of surprise. He had a big opener a year ago, when he caught five passes for 110 yards and two TDs in a walloping of Baltimore. That sent fantasy football players scrambling to their laptops to pick him up.
There’s another league honor for the Denver Broncos as wide receiver Eric Decker has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Demaryius Thomas was named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career after becoming the first Broncos receiver in a decade with a trio of TD receptions.

The National Football League announced on Wednesday that Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
