Bike MS

June 30 – July 1

Westminster to Fort Collins

The 2012 Newmont Bike MS, Presented by Great-West Life will take place on June 30 and July 1 beginning at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado and travels through the majestic foothills with an overnight in Fort Collins at Colorado State University. Day Two takes riders around Horsetooth Reservoir, through historic Masonville and returns to Westminster.

The earlier you register, the more you will save!

$65 registration fee through February 29, 2012, $75 from March 1 through April 30, $85 from May 1 until Ride sells out. Participants must:
1. Raise a minimum of $400 in donations (does not include registration fees).
2. Be 12 years or older as of the date of the event.
3. Understand that registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and not tax-deductible.
4. Recognize that personal support vehicles are prohibited along the course route at all times.

Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective

Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective features a stunning selection of 200 haute couture garments along with numerous photographs, drawings, and films that illustrate the development of Saint Laurent’s style and the historical foundations of his work. 40 years in the making, this presentation unfolds Yves Saint Laurent as you’ll explore the art and design of his career. The Retrospective exhibition includes Yves Saint Laurent’s first days at Dior, and takes you all the way to the splendor of his evening dresses from 2002. The Denver Art Museum will be the only United States venue for the exhibition.

Denver Day of Rock

Concerts for Kids

The Denver Day of Rock is a one-of-a-kind music event presented by Concerts for Kids to raise awareness of the children in our community. This free event will feature five stages of live music throughout downtown Denver on Saturday, May 26th, 2012. This year the Denver Day of Rock will benefit the Food Bank of the Rockies. Individuals attending will be asked to bring cans of non-perishable food which will directly benefit Food Bank of the Rockies. During the event, there will also be several bins at various locations along the 16th Street Mall where individuals can drop off cans of food. All food donated that day will go directly to FBR in order for them to continue to help feed our community and fight hunger.

Hike MS Copper Mountain and MS Winter Park will take place rain or shine. This fun event was created to challenge participants of varying ability and experience levels with three progressively harder Hike MS routes. Families may enjoy a leisurely 2-mile hike on our Green Route, while experienced hikers can choose the more advanced 5-mile Blue Route or take the challenge and attempt our 10-mile Black Diamond Route.

Hike Day brings friends, families, and coworkers together to embrace an important cause. Hike together to make a powerful statement and to keep moving toward a cure. Each step you take brings the National Multiple Sclerosis Society closer to a world free of multiple sclerosis.

Destination Health 5K Walk/Run

The Center for African American Health is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the African-American community. Last year, more than 500 people came out to support the Center for African-American Health’s first annual Destination Health 5K Walk/Run/Learn event on Saturday, July 30 in Denver’s City Park. The event helped raise funds and new friends in support of the Center’s programs to alleviate the health disparities facing African Americans.

Join us on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 for the second annual Destination Health 5K and walk, run and learn.
