Durango Considers Tent City For Homeless Due To Fire Danger
DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4)- Durango is considering a campground specifically for the homeless.
The city in southwestern Colorado is considering the move because of the increasing fire danger associated with different homeless camps in the area.
The city is debating between two locations for a campground designed specifically for homeless residents.
Once the location is finalized, Durango will work on creating bathrooms, privacy fences and other safety measures.
