Government Shutdown Forces Cancellation Of USAFA Athletic Events
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Due to the government shutdown, the Air Force Academy announced all home and away intercollegiate athletic events have been canceled.
Officials sent the notice out on Saturday morning.
There were several events scheduled Saturday, including men's and women's basketball games at Fresno State according to the USAFA's events page.
Officials say the Academy will work to reschedule as many missed events as possible if a resolution is reached.
