FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Deshon Taylor scored 22 points, including nine in the extra period, to lead Fresno State to an 82-79 overtime win over Colorado State on Saturday night.

The Bulldogs (12-5, 2-2 Mountain West) opened the overtime on a 6-0 run to take a 75-69 lead with 1:16 to play. Taylor took a mid-court steal in for a solo dunk, making it 79-74 with 22 seconds left. The Rams (8-9, 1-3) replied with a J.D. Paige 3-pointer and a Lorenzo Jenkins tip shot to close to 81-79 with six seconds left but Fresno State held on for the win.

Late in the second half, Ray Bowles Jr. drained a long 3-pointer to give the Bulldogs a 69-66 edge and Jenkins answered with a 3-point play to tie it 69-all. Both teams missed 3-pointers in the final 10 seconds, forcing the overtime.
