DENVER (CBS4) – The concrete foundation was poured on Saturday for a new hotel in downtown Denver.
The Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station is being built at 20th and Chestnut Place.
Approximately 150 trucks poured 20 million pounds of concrete at the construction site. In a prepared statement Alliance Construction Solutions called it “one of the largest continuous concrete pours in Denver’s history.”
The new hotel will be 12 stories high and will have 233 rooms.
