Drop Off Old, Torn Flags For Proper Retirement

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– People living in the Denver metro area have a convenient option to retire old and torn American flags.

Adams County has installed receptacles at all six of its motor vehicle locations for people to drop off the flags.

The ballot drop off boxes have been revised to accept flags through October.

A chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will give the flags a proper retirement ceremony.
