DENVER (CBS4) - A structure collapse team was requested after a car crashed into a marijuana dispensary.

The crash happened Sunday night at the Buddy Boy Dispensary at 3814 Walnut Street in Denver.

A staff member told CBS4's Dillon Thomas that the car went into the company's "grow section" when a frequent customer attempted to park her car.

The green 4-door vehicle damaged a wall in the back half of the building near a closet where the CO2 is stored.

As a result, in addition to the building's structural integrity, firefighters were surveying chemical levels.

"The biggest concern is just monitoring the airs, and because of the special occupancies, making sure that we don't have high levels of CO, that the environment is safe inside there. Plus we have security issues in making sure that we can get this business secured tonight and make sure they are secure for the evening until they can get the appropriate fix done," said Denver firefighter Bob Kmak.

Firefighters placed a large piece of plywood over the hole after the car was removed from the area.
