Ware Moves Into 8th Place On NFL's All-Time Sack List
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CBS4) - Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware is now in sole possession of eighth place on the NFL's all-time sack list.
With his hit on Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, Ware moves ahead of Richard Dent and John Randle with 138.5 career sacks.
Ware also ties Al Wilson and Shane Dronett for fifteenth on the Broncos' all-time list with 21.5 sacks.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Julius Peppers (141.5) is the only active player on the NFL's list ahead of Ware.
The other six are Bruce Smith (200), Reggie White (198), Kevin Greene (160), Chris Doleman (150.5), Michael Strahan (141.5), and Jason Taylor (139.5).
Before coming to the Broncos, Ware spent nine seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, racking up 117 sacks.
