CDOT Hopes New 'Smart Signs' Will Help Improve Safety On I-25
DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado Department of Transportation is testing new smart signs to improve safety along Interstate 25.
The signs warn drivers about traffic conditions ahead. If there's an accident the signs will tell drivers to slow down and show which lanes are closed so vehicles can move over in time.
The smart signs run along southbound I-25 from 120th Avenue to I-76.
The system was tested during Friday morning's rush hour.
