Von Miller Becomes Fourth-Fastest To 70 Sacks

DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos linebacker Von Miller made another big hit on the NFL record books Sunday.

With his two take downs of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith on the same drive in the second quarter, Miller became the fourth-fastest to reach 70 career sacks.

Miller managed the feat in just 83 games played.

NFL great Reggie White managed the feat in just 57 games, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt in 75, and former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Derrick Thomas doing it in 82 games, with Buffalo Bills defensive end Bruce Smith also doing it in 83 games.

White has the second-most sacks in NFL history with 198, which is just two shy of all-time leader Bruce Smith (200).
