Several Broncos On List Of Semifinalists For Hall Of Fame

DENVER (CBS4) - Five former Broncos are on the list of semifinalists for the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Terrell Davis, John Lynch, Steve Atwater, Brian Dawkins and Karl Mecklenberg are all on the list of 26 candidates for the hall. (Vote here.)

Davis, a running back and the NFL's MVP in 1998, has been a semifinalist 11 times.

Dawkins, a safety who spent the last three years of his career with the Broncos after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, is elligible for the hall for the first time this year.

Former San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson is also on the list of semifinalists in his first year of elligibility.

Fifteen finalists will be announced in January.
