Police: Deadly Shooting Started With Marijuana Deal
DENVER (CBS4)- Police say the deadly shooting near the 16th Street Mall on Wednesday started with a marijuana deal.
The suspected gunman, Steven Wiley, told investigators he was going to sell marijuana to two men when a fight broke out near Champa Street.
Nathanial Simpson, 30, from Wheat Ridge, was killed in the shooting. Another man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Wiley, 20, is facing a first-degree murder charge.
