1 Suspect Arrested In Deadly Shooting Near 16th Street Mall
DENVER (CBS4)- One person was arrested in connection with Wednesday's deadly shooting near the 16th Street Mall.
Police arrested Steven Wiley. Wiley, 20, was one of two people detained after the shooting Wednesday afternoon.
Two males were shot, one suffered non-life threatening injuries and the other, later identified as Nathanial Simpson, died.
Wiley was held for investigation of first-degree murder and first-degree assault.
Police say the shooting began as a fight in a parking lot between the two victims, Wiley and a female who was detained and then released.
