Firefighter Injured During Training, Then Dies From Heart Attack
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A 31-year-old firefighter from the Colorado Springs area died over the weekend after suffering a heart attack.
Jermaine Frye worked for the Cimarron Hills Fire Department.
The fire chief said Frye was recently hospitalized for an injury he suffered during training. His death is considered a line-of-duty death.
Frye had previously worked for the Aurora Fire Department. He was engaged and his fiancee is expecting a child.
