CBS4's Kelly Werthmann Calls In From Rock 'n' Roll Denver Half Marathon

DENVER (CBS4)- CBS4 Anchor Kelly Werthmann called into the CBS4 studios while she was running in Sunday's Rock 'n' Roll Denver Half Marathon.

"Just passed the Marriott, I'm running into the sun to warm things up a bit," said Werthmann.

Werthmann talked about running her first half marathon.

"Definitely nervous, but I'm having a good time. It's hard to really focus on your nerves and you see all the people who are out here and everybody is having fun and smiling and starting their Sunday the fun way," said Werthmann. "So, it's good. I'm nervous though."

She also talked about how she prepared for the run.

"I had pasta the night before for dinner, but this morning I forgot to eat, believe it or not, because of nerves, but there were some people out here who had some extra bananas," said Werthmann.
