Broncos TE Phillips Plays In 100th Career Game

DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos tight end John Phillips is playing in his 100th career game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Phillips saw action in the first quarter, as he made his third consecutive start in place of injured TE Virgil Green.

This is the first season Phillips is with the Broncos.

His prior six seasons, when he only missed one of the games, were spent with either the San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys.

Phillips is listed third on the depth chart behind tight ends Jeff Heuerman and Virgil Green, who is inactive again on Sunday.
