Aqib Talib Shows A Knack For Interception Returns For TDs

DENVER (The Sports Xchange) - Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib has demonstrated a knack for turning interceptions into touchdowns over the course of his career.

His 46-yard interception return for a touchdown was pivotal in Denver's 34-20 win Sunday over the Indianapolis Colts and also was the ninth of his career and fifth with the Broncos, a team record.

Talib has the most interception returns for a touchdown among active players and ranks fourth on the league's all-time list. He said his constant attempts to take interceptions to the house in practice has paid off on game days.

"Ask my coach -- when I get an interception in practice, I go score on it," Talib said. "Practice makes perfect."

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Talib has the potential to score every time he gets his hands on the ball.

"He's not only a DB, but a returner, too," Kubiak said. "That was a great run on his part."
