Devontae Booker Fumbles In First NFL Carry

DENVER (CBS4) – Broncos rookie running back Devontae Booker fumbled in his first carry on Thursday night at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Booker came in to relieve starting running back C.J. Anderson during the opening drive. He rushed for no gain and then fumbled on Carolina’s 29 yard line.

The Panthers recovered the fumble and scored on their opening drive.

Booker beat out Ronnie Hillman, the Broncos leading rusher last year, for a spot on the roster. Hillman was released last weekend.
