Broncos Fans Attend Big Outdoor Party To Kick Off Season Opener
DENVER (CBS4) - Ahead of the Denver Broncos Super Bowl rematch against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, a big party in Civic Center Park kicks off Wednesday for fans.
The NFL is hosting a two day fan festival that begins Wednesday afternoon and continues Thursday with a free concert featuring Dierks Bentley and OneRepublic.
The village in Civic Center Park at the City County Building opens at 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Fans can enjoy games, live music and autograph sessions with players.
Entrances for the performances in the park open at 3 p.m. on Thursday, with the show scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
Fans do not need tickets to attend the event, which will go on whether rain or shine.
Several other activities will also be held for fans and families in the Kickoff Village, including photo opportunities with The Vince Lombardi Trophy, Pro Football Hall of Fame busts of John Elway, Shannon Sharpe, Gary Zimmerman, and Floyd Little, as well as the NFL Draft set.
The Broncos play the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Thursday night.
The game will not be broadcast in the park following the concert.
