Kubiak Wants Broncos To Put Super Bowl 50 In Rearview Mirror

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Forget Super Bowl 50. Focus on Super Bowl 51.

That's coach Gary Kubiak's message, telling his players to put their championship in the rearview as they kicked off training camp Thursday with star Von Miller in uniform for the first time since the Super Bowl.

Miller will ease into action after missing the offseason because of a contract stalemate that ended after he signed a $114.5 million deal with $70 million guaranteed.

Sidelined at the start are linebacker DeMarcus Ware (back) and cornerback Aqib Talib (leg).

Mark Sanchez gets first crack at winning the starting quarterback job. He's in a three-way race with second-year pro Trevor Siemian and rookie Paxton Lynch.

The Broncos open the season against the Super Bowl runner-up Carolina Panthers on Sept. 8.
