Moose Causes Traffic Jam In Steamboat Springs
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A large moose caused a traffic jam in Steamboat Springs over the weekend.
The moose was seen on the side of the road on Mt. Werner Circle on Saturday night behind the Steamboat Grand.
Police and wildlife officers were called for traffic control as people were parking on the side of the road and getting out of their vehicles to take pictures of the moose.
The moose did not charge people but wildlife officers want to remind the public that wild animals, especially moose, can turn aggressive and charge.
No one was injured.
