Amber Alert Canceled After Boy Allegedly Abducted By Father Found Safe

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - An Amber Alert has been canceled after a missing 5-year-old boy was found safe.

Authorities in Commerce City say they believe the boy was abducted by his father Nicholas Ptak at a laundromat near a car wash at East 77th Avenue and Brighton Road.

Ptak, 28, then drove quickly from the scene.

According to authorities, the father was seen taking pictures of the child and then coaxed the boy into his SUV.

Ptak, 25, was taken into custody.
