Kitten Still Has 8 Lives Left Thanks To Eagle County Firefighters

EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – There was a happy ending to an animal rescue in Eagle County on Saturday.

Eagle River Fire Protection District firefighters saved a kitten that was trapped underground in a utility vault. Crews don't know how the kitten got in there or how long she'd been stuck.

Eagle County Animal Services checked out the kitty to make sure she was okay.

One of the firefighters that took part in the rescue is adopting the kitten.
