Johnstown Physician Investigated For Surgical Mistakes

JOHNSTOWN, Colo. (CBS4)- A physician in Johnstown is under investigation for failing to report mistakes made during surgeries.

The state medical board claims spinal surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Pettine, made mistakes with spine implants.

The mistakes happened three times. Pettine took notes admitting the mistakes and correcting them but then never reported them to the board.

Pettine stopped practicing. Investigators conducted a search at his office on Thursday.
