Cone Zone On Tower Road For Widening Project
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- A widening project on Tower Road in Commerce City got underway on Tuesday. The project will add an extra lane in each direction between E. 80th and E. 103rd Avenues.
There will also be the addition of bike lanes, sidewalk and a multi-use path for pedestrians and cyclists.
Additional improvements include burying the overhead electric line, storm improvements and major drainage structures at Second Creek and Gramma Gulch.
The $51.1 million project is expected to be completed late next year.
