Weld County Approves $2 Million For I-25 Expansion
WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The expansion of Interstate 25 in Northern Colorado is moving forward after commissioners in Weld County signed on to the project.
The commissioners have committed $2 million for the project that would create a third lane for a portion of I-25.
The third lane would stretch from Loveland to Fort Collins. The project would also replace two bridges to accommodate the third lane.
Larimer County continues to work on securing more funding before work can get underway.
