Video Shows Man Accused Of Stealing Rifle

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Surveillance video shows a man accused of stealing an AR-15 rifle form a sporting goods store.

Police claim the man took a Bushmaster .223 caliber AR-15 rifle from the Gander Mountain Store located at 9923 N. Grant Street in Thornton on Tuesday.

Investigators believe the same man first tried to steal a shotgun from Sportsman's Warehouse earlier that same day. Employees chased down the man, he dropped the gun but got away.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with neck tattoos, wearing a black or gray North Face jacket with a dark colored hoodie underneath, blue jeans, tennis shoes with a red sole, black hat with a white logo and a gray and white camouflaged bill.
