2 Arrested In Drone Theft

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police have arrested two suspects wanted in the theft of a high-end drone from a hobby store earlier this month.

Two male suspects were recorded on surveillance cameras running out of Remote Control Hobbies with three boxes. Employees chased them to a parking lot and recovered one of the drones. The thieves got away with a drone valued at $1,400. The other box was empty.

Police said they received tips leading to the suspects within a few hours. Now investigators are looking into whether the pair is responsible for similar crimes in other cities.

A similar theft also happened at a store in Littleton.
