Police: Driver High, Crashed Into Home

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Fort Collins believe a driver was high on drugs when he crashed into the side of a home on Sunday.

The crash happened on Sunday morning at a home on East Prospect Drive.

Police say Thomas Collins drove through the side wall of the garage and into the living room. No one inside was hurt.

Neighbors say they were surprised to see the crash.

"I just walked out, we heard all the sirens earlier and then I saw this, the yellow tape, something's going on and just walked next door to see there is a car into the side of a house... you know, that doesn't happen everyday," said one neighbor.

"I don't know what they did but it didn't look like they braked at all or anything before they went through the home. Pretty much went right on down the road," said another neighbor.
