Woman Issued Child Abuse Summons After Toddler Found Wandering After Midnight

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A child abuse summons has been issued to a woman after a toddler was found wandering alone in the early morning hours on Sunday.

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, Davoney Sandoval, 22 was issued the summons after deputies found the child wandering alone at approximately 1 a.m. at 7640 East Harvard Avenue.

The sheriff's office posted on social media requests to help locate the child's family. A family member finally contacted the sheriff's office around 8 a.m.

The sheriff's office isn't releasing the relationship between Sandoval and the child.
