Police Believe Alcohol A Factor After Car Crashes Into Restaurant

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - A car crashed into a Wheat Ridge restaurant Thursday morning.

The crash happened at Joe's Cafe on 44th Avenue and Garrison Street. Police say the driver of a white Chevy went right through the intersection and crashed into a parked car and pushed it into the building.

The 57-year-old driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Nobody else was hurt.

Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
