According to Kramer, at approximately 6:15 p.m. a 12-year-old boy went into a field in the area to look for his siblings.

"He walked into a wooded area … and noticed someone behind a tree and assumed it was one of his siblings. As he walked closer, an adult male emerged from behind the tree," Kramer said in a statement. "The male approached the juvenile, grabbed his wrist, and pulled the juvenile toward him."

Kramer said the boy was able to break free and ran home.

"He was shaken and sustained minor scratches to his wrist, but was not seriously injured. His siblings had been playing in a different part of the field and did not encounter the adult male," Kramer said.

The suspect was described as being a while male, 45 to 50 years of age with messy, short black hair. He was unshaven with a salt and pepper colored "chin-only goatee and no mustache." He was wearing a dirty short-sleeved royal blue collared shirt and dirty tan cargo pants.

"The 12 year-old stated the male suspect was mumbling and appeared to be highly intoxicated. At this time, it is unknown what the suspect's intentions were," Kramer said.
