Boulder Police Search For Man Who Tried To Lure Teen Into Car

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder hope someone recognizes a man wanted for trying to lure a girl into his car. Detectives released a sketch of the suspect wanted in the incident.

The incident happened just after 3 p.m. on Feb. 16 as the 14-year-old girl was walking home from school.

The girl was walking across the crosswalk at Broadway and Baseline Road when the man, driving a late-model Subaru Forester or similar style vehicle, asked if she wanted a ride.

The girl ran towards her home and the man continued to follow her in his vehicle, yelling at her.

The suspect is described as a white male with a pale skin tone, between 35-40 years old, with a heavy build. He did not have any facial hair and his hair appeared to be very short. He may have been bald.

According to the victim he appeared to be "out of it" and either slurred his words or had a lisp.
