Paroled Member Of White Supremacist Gang Arrested

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado Department of Corrections has arrested a paroled member of a white supremacist prison gang.

Authorities in Denver located 36-year-old Dennis Simonton, who was a member of the 211 Crew. He was arrested without incident on Saturday.

Simonton escaped with fellow gang member Wesley Jones and William Wasilkowski, who is not a member of the gang. Both were arrested shortly after their escape earlier this month after the three men removed their ankle bracelets.

The man who killed Colorado's prisons chief three years ago was also a paroled member of the gang who had removed his ankle bracelet. Authorities questioned other 211 Crew members after the killing, though none was charged.

Officials say there is no indication of a link between that case and the latest absconders.
