Crews Begin Building Rink For Avs Vs. Red Wings At Coors Field
DENVER (CBS4) - It's just more than two weeks away from the outdoor NHL game featuring the Colorado Avalanche against the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL Stadium Series.
Work is underway to get the rink built at Coors Field.
They will need about 20,000 gallons of water to make the ice 2 inches thick and it will be monitored 24 hours until game day.
