Fans Whose Dreams Crushed By Panthers Offer Advice To Broncos Fans
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS4)- Fans of the Cardinals, Cowboys, Seahawks and Packers had their dreams of Super Bowl 50 ripped apart by the Carolina Panthers. Now those fans are offering advice to the Denver Broncos in case the outcome doesn't go their way.
"We certainly got outplayed by Carolina," said Wendy Baker, a Green Bay Packers fan.
Cowboys fan Dumar Hemingway said the Panthers ruined his Thanksgiving, "Defense broke down, our quarterback out for the season, so I already know just going in there with some hope."
The fans all thought their team had a chance.
"The Cardinals didn't do anything right in that game, quite frankly," said Kelly, a Cardinals fan.
They say there's a formula and the Broncos can learn from their devastation.
"If they can't get to Cam Newton, I don't think they'll be able to get a win," said Hemingway.
"Peyton's going to have to have a strong game, too," said Jack, a Seahawks fan.
"Make every play count, every play. If you miss one play, that's about all it takes with this team," said Kelly.
Baker believes fans should not ignore their superstitions," I should have washed my truck and I didn't that day, which I normally do before a game. Little superstitious things like that."
