Broncos Practice Inside During Final Practice Of 2015

Broncos practiced indoors again today, and the big story this week, with Brock Osweiler as the starter and Peyton Manning as the backup.

Gary Kubiak said yesterday if everything goes according to plan, Manning will be active on Sunday for the first time since November 15th and will suit up as the Broncos QB. Manning said he had 4 good workouts last week with no setbacks, but Kubiak said he still isn't 100% (but everyone is banged up at this point).

Kubiak said the decision to stick with Brock was a "combination of things," both Manning's health and that Osweiler has done a "hell of a job."

Broncos biggest injury concern this week is leading tackler Brandon Marshall, who did not practice today.

Owen Daniels also got the day off, he is listed on the injury report with the rare knee/knee/shoulder triple injury designation.

Osweiler also a 3-injury listee: left elbow/left shoulder/rib cage, but Brock said yesterday he "feels great."

On to the Chargers... and the Broncos have a playoff spot wrapped up, but still have a range of possibilities for the post-season:

With a win Sunday, Broncos secure a first round bye and a top 2 seed. If the Patriots lose to the Dolphins in the morning, a Broncos win would equal the #1 seed.

If the Broncos lose and the Chiefs win, the Chiefs would win the AFC West and Denver would be a wild card. If the Chiefs lose, the Broncos win the division for a 5th straight year no matter what they do against the Chargers.

If Chiefs and Broncos both lose, and Bengals win, Broncos would be the 3-seed.
