Woman Accidentally Shoots Herself On Christmas Morning
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver said a woman accidentally shot herself Christmas morning. She was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Investigators say the woman was shot in the backseat of a pickup truck near Federal Boulevard and 2nd. She was rushed to the hospital where she was immediately put into surgery.
The woman was in her 30s but has not been identified.
It is unclear why the woman had a gun or what she was trying to do. Police have not said whether the woman was alone at the time of the shooting.
