Snowstorm Cancels Zoo Lights For Tuesday Night

DENVER (CBS4)- The snow forced the Denver Zoo to take a break on Tuesday night from its 25th anniversary of the Denver Zoo Lights.

The Denver Zoo has nearly doubled the amount of lights with 70 acres of lights set to be on display. The zoo also features more than 150 animated animal sculptures.

The zoo lights are scheduled to continue again on Wednesday and every night through Jan. 3, 2016.

Denver Zoo's annual lights festival features more than two million lights and 150 sculptures.
