Donation Will Allow Rocky Mountain Hospital For Children To Buy More Wagons
DENVER (CBS4) - A donation of more than $7,000 will go a long way to help the young patients at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children.
Oxford Mortgage and Keller Williams DTC raised the money so the hospital could buy more wagons. The wagons are used to transport children around the building and are specially outfitted to hold IV poles.
"We appreciate these wagons because kids who are in the hospital need to feel like they are more at home than in the hospital. So we can transport them for treatment, transport them for tests, transport them in and out of their cars with a wagon; that takes some of the bite out of being sick and in the hospital," said Dr. Reginald Washington, Chief Medical Officer.
The money will be enough to buy 60 new wagons.
